Valfréjus Ski resort
At an altitude of 1550 meters, just above Modane, is the charming ski resort of Valfréjus. Recognized for its exceptional snow cover and plenty of sunshine, the village of Valfréjus is an ideal destination for all types of skiers.
Located in the Maurienne valley, just 7 kilometers from the A43 motorway, the ski resort of Valfréjus combines authenticity (with its architecture perfectly integrated into the surrounding forest) and modernity (with a ski lift park refurbished in 80% over the last 4 years).
Very far from the spirit of "concrete" resorts, Valfréjus fits perfectly into its environment and offers all the advantages of a village resort with a particularly harmonious design in the middle of fir trees and larches. Resort on a human scale, everything is done on foot, and wherever you stay, you are never far from your ski school, shops or the start of the slopes

The resorts of Valfréjus and La Norma offer access to over 135 km of slopes. Free, regular shuttle buses run throughout the winter, allowing you to move easily between the two resorts.
If you’re looking for even more slopes, opt for the Espace Haute Maurienne Vanoise ski pass, which gives you access to the slopes of six ski resorts (300 km of slopes): La Norma, Aussois, Valfréjus, Val Cenis, Bonneval-sur-Arc and Bessans.
